For the longest time, I found puppies cuter than babies. And now I can't take my eyes off this one tiny little baby boy. There's so much to gaze and wonder!! For one, I kinda always assumed, they "see" you. Ok, they see you, but you're just like the rest of the stuff in that plane. Or you're just light and shade. That moves and makes funny noises. Gosh, how does the world look, when you don't know a face from a flower. Hmm... somehow, when babies stretch out in the sun, gaze wide eyed at the sky and the leaves or the fan and the light... I suspect they "see" it all better than we ever will, now.
Day after day, we watch him practice his kicks, punches, gazes and a million expressions and I wait for him to recognise his atte's face and pull a funny smile on his face :-)
